Xuanfeng Accelerator V3.8 Released with New Scheduling Algorithm
On September 20, Xuanfeng Accelerator pushed V3.8 to all platforms. It added no flashy features, but rebuilt the two things that matter most—node scheduling and the client UI. The changelog put it plainly: "Make 'faster' something you can see."
1. What changed
V3.8 covers three areas: scheduling upgrade, UI redesign and stability fixes. In the previous version, 3.7% of users hit "node freeze"—connected but no traffic—during peak hours. V3.8 cut that to under 0.2% with a heartbeat probe.
2. Scheduling: from nearest to fastest
The old logic picked the geographically nearest node, which fails cross-border. V3.8 switched to real-time measurement plus load awareness, sampling latency, loss and load every second. A quieter change is "time memory": the algorithm remembers each node's historical quality curve and pre-ranks candidates, cutting connection time from 4.2s to 1.8s.
3. UI overhaul
The new UI moves latency, loss and node to the top of the main panel with large real-time numbers. A breathing light shows status: green for stable, yellow for jitter, red for switching.
4. Upgrade data & feedback
| Metric | V3.7 | V3.8 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Avg latency cut | 54% | 62% | +8% |
| Node freeze rate | 3.7% | 0.2% | -3.5% |
| Connect time | 4.2s | 1.8s | -2.4s |
A week after launch, satisfaction among 20,000 surveyed users rose from 4.3 to 4.7 out of 5. "I used to switch nodes manually at peak hours; after V3.8 I barely touch it," one user wrote. V3.8 didn't claim to be revolutionary—it just made "fast" more solid.
User Comments
Auto-switching at peak hours is a lifesaver.
The new UI shows latency at a glance, and connection is much faster.
Stable overall, just need to relearn a few button positions.
